The Charlestown Townies basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Boston English Eagles to 54 in the Townies non-league victory on Thursday.

The Townies now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chelsea for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 29. Charlestown will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 85-62 league loss to Everett (Everett, MA). The Red Devils record now stands at 6-6.
