Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Loyalsock Township holds off Southern Columbia Area
January 27, 2022: Catawissa, PA 17820 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Loyalsock Township Lancers (Williamsport, PA) and the host Southern Columbia Area Tigers (Catawissa, PA), saw Loyalsock Township's basketball squad hold off Southern Columbia Area by a tally of 72-69.
With the victory, Loyalsock Township improves its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Warrior Run (Turbotville, PA) to confront the Defenders in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 28. The Defenders come into the challenge with a record of 1-14. Warrior Run lost 83-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa, PA)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Mount Carmel RED TORNADOES (Mount Carmel, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 29. Southern Columbia Area will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The RED TORNADOES come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 53-32 non-league win over Annville-Cleona (Annville, PA).
