Illinois High School Basketball - South Beloit fells Westminster Christian
January 27, 2022: South Beloit, IL 61080 South Beloit Sobos (South Beloit, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Westminster Christian Warriors (Elgin, IL), 68-52 in a league bout.
With the win, South Beloit upgrades its record to 18-3 on the season. The Sobos travel to Schaumburg Christian (Schaumburg, IL) to clash with the Conquerors in a Northeastern bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Conquerors go into the bout with a record of 4-13. Schaumburg Christian lost 59-34 in their recent non-league bout against Rochelle Zell Jewish (Deerfield, IL)
Next up, the Warriors clash with the Christian Heritage Academy Lions (Northfield, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 28. Westminster Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 75-40 non-league loss to Rochelle Zell Jewish (Deerfield, IL).
