California High School Basketball - Central Catholic nips Sierra

January 27, 2022: Modesto, CA 95351

Central Catholic Raiders (Modesto, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Sierra Timberwolves (Manteca, CA), 45-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Central Catholic upgrades its record to 5-13 on the season. The Raiders host Weston Ranch (Stockton, CA) to play the Cougars in a Valley Oak League bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 6-10.

Next up, the Timberwolves play the Manteca Buffaloes (Manteca, CA) in a Valley Oak League bout, on Friday, January 28. Sierra will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a 13-4 record after their 46-30 league win over Oakdale (Oakdale, CA).
