Fairfield Central Griffins (Winnsboro, SC) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Chester Cyclones (Chester, SC), 56-18 in a league bout.

With the victory, Fairfield Central upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Griffins travel to Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC) to play the Rebels in a AAA Region 4 bout on Friday, January 28. The Rebels come into the bout with a record of 9-5. Mid-Carolina lost 61-28 in their recent league bout against Lower Richland (Hopkins, SC)
