January 27, 2022: Lake Crystal, MN 56055 The Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial Knights (Lake Crystal, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting Nicollet/Loyola (Nicollet, MN), 81-71 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Knights (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Blue Earth (Blue Earth, MN). The Buccaneers go into the AA Section 2 test with a 4-11 record. In their last test, Blue Earth went down by New Ulm (New Ulm, MN), 72-28, in a league test.
The now own a 12-12 record. They play next when they travel to Hope Academy for a non-league test on Friday, January 28. Nicollet/Loyola will encounter a squad coming off a 65-31 non-league loss to Mounds Park Academy (St. Paul, MN). The record now stands at 5-9.
