Marshall Tigers (Marshall, MN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Worthington Trojans (Worthington, MN), 67-61 in a league bout.

With the victory, Marshall upgrades its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Tigers host Windom (Windom, MN) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, February 4. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 6-10.

Next up, the Trojans play the Redwood Valley Cardinals (Redwood Falls, MN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 29. Worthington will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Cardinals come into the bout with a 1-14 record after their 67-14 league loss to Luverne (Luverne, MN).
