La Mirada Matadores (La Mirada, CA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Bellflower Buccaneers (Bellflower, CA), 11-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Matadores confront the Mayfair Monsoons (Lakewood, CA) in a Suburban challenge, on Tuesday, February 1. La Mirada will attempt to move on its 11-2 season record. The Monsoons enter the challenge with a 13-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Firebaugh (Lynwood, CA).
