Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Weaver Beavers (Hartford, CT) and the visiting Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Jets (Windsor, CT), saw Weaver's basketball squad wallop Academy of Aerospace and Engineering by a tally of 65-41.

With the victory, Weaver improves its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Beavers travel to Capital Prep (Hartford, CT) to confront the Trailblazers in a Capitol Region challenge on Monday, January 30. The Trailblazers come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Capital Prep lost 52-46 in their recent league challenge against Academy of Science and Innovation (New Britain, CT)

Next up, the Jets confront the East Windsor Panthers (East Windsor, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 30. Academy of Aerospace and Engineering will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 42-36 league loss to Rockville (Vernon, CT).
