The North Stokes Vikings basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host Alleghany Trojans to 59 in the Vikings league victory on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount Airy for a 1A Conference 36 contest on Tuesday, January 31. North Stokes will battle a Granite Bears team coming off a 62-49 league win over Starmount (Boonville, NC). The Granite Bears record now stands at 6-10.

The Trojans (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Cardinals come into the 1A Conference 36 contest with a 8-11 record.
