Colorado High School Basketball - Aspen tops Coal Ridge
January 27, 2023: Aspen, CO 81611 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Aspen Skiers (Aspen, CO) and the visiting Coal Ridge Titans (New Castle, CO), saw Aspen's basketball squad knock off Coal Ridge by a count of 57-43.
With the victory, Aspen upgrades its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Skiers host Basalt (Basalt, CO) to play the Longhorns in a 4A Western Slope challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a record of 7-8. Basalt won 63-50 in their recent league challenge against Delta (Delta, CO)
Next up, the Titans play the Steamboat Springs Sailors (Steamboat Springs, CO) in a 4A Western Slope challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Coal Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Sailors come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 49-32 league win over Moffat County (Craig, CO).
