Iowa High School Basketball - Bellevue crushes Northeast
January 27, 2023: Goose Lake, IA 52750 Bellevue Comets (Bellevue, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Northeast Rebels (Goose Lake, IA), 73-44 in a league bout.
With the win, Bellevue upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Comets travel to Marquette (Bellevue, IA) to clash with the Mohawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Mohawks go into the bout with a record of 15-2. Marquette lost 56-43 in their recent non-league bout against Assumption (Davenport, IA)
Next up, the Rebels clash with the Camanche Indians (Camanche, IA) in a River Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Northeast will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 8-9 record after their 84-54 league win over Anamosa (Anamosa, IA).
