January 27, 2023: Shreveport, LA 71107 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Calvary Baptist Academy Cavaliers (Shreveport, LA) and the host Green Oaks Giants (Shreveport, LA), saw Calvary Baptist Academy's basketball squad hold off Green Oaks by a tally of 55-53.
With the victory, Calvary Baptist Academy improves its record to 18-7 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host North Caddo (Vivian, LA) to confront the Titans in a 2A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 2-12. North Caddo lost 50-29 in their recent league challenge against Loyola College Prep (Shreveport, LA)
Next up, the Giants confront the Neville Tigers (Monroe, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 17. Green Oaks will attempt to improve on its 9-13 season record.
