Alabama High School Basketball - Clay-Chalkville crushes Mortimer Jordan
January 27, 2023: Pinson, AL 35126 Clay-Chalkville Cougars (Pinson, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils (Kimberly, AL), 62-27 in a league bout.
With the win, Clay-Chalkville upgrades its record to 13-11 on the season. The Cougars travel to Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 20-7. Oak Mountain won 73-63 in their recent league bout against Chelsea (Chelsea, AL)
Next up, the Blue Devils clash with the Moody Blue Devils (Moody, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Mortimer Jordan will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Blue Devils enter the game with a 9-11 record after their 49-45 league win over Leeds (Leeds, AL).
