January 27, 2023: Sycamore, IL 60178 The Sycamore Spartans basketball team (Sycamore, IL), was overwhelmed 67-41 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting DeKalb Barbs (DeKalb, IL)
The Barbs now possess a 17-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Naperville North for a DuPage Valley battle on Monday, January 30. DeKalb will confront a Huskies team coming off a 68-54 non-league win over Aurora East (Aurora, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 15-9.
The Spartans (8-16) will now prepare for their battle against LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL). The Cavaliers come into the Interstate Eight battle with a 15-10 record. In their last battle, LaSalle-Peru trounced St. Bede (Peru, IL), 55-48, in a non-league battle.
