Oregon High School Basketball - Elgin ripped by Union
January 27, 2023: Union, OR 97883 The Union Bobcats basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Elgin Huskies to 21 in the Bobcats league triumph on Friday.
The Bobcats now sport a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pilot Rock for a 1A Old Oregon contest on Saturday, January 28. Union will battle a Rockets team coming off a 72-59 league loss to Echo (Echo, OR). The Rockets record now stands at 4-11.
The Huskies (0-14) will now prepare for their contest against Griswold (Helix, OR). The Grizzlies enter the 1A Old Oregon contest with a 1-11 record. In their last contest, Griswold was routed by Nixyaawii Community (Pendleton, OR), 95-20, in a league contest.
