Alabama High School Basketball - Escambia County fells Jackson

January 27, 2023: Atmore, AL 36502

Escambia County Blue Devils (Atmore, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Jackson Aggies (Jackson, AL), 48-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Escambia County upgrades its record to 13-8 on the season. The Blue Devils host Hillcrest (Evergreen, AL) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 13-4.

Next up, the Aggies play the T.R. Miller Tigers (Brewton, AL) in a 4A Area 2 bout, on Monday, January 30. Jackson will attempt to upgrade on its 21-4 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 58-49 non-league win over W.S. Neal (East Brewton, AL).
