Texas High School Basketball - Grady fells Klondike
January 27, 2023: Lenorah, TX 79749 Grady Wildcats (Lenorah, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting Klondike Cougars (Lamesa, TX), 50-36 in a league challenge.
With the victory, Grady improves its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Loop (Loop, TX) to confront the Longhorns in a 1A Region I District 8 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a record of 6-12. Loop won 1-0 in their recent league challenge against Dawson (Welch, TX)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Sands Mustangs (Ackerly, TX) in a 1A Region I District 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Klondike will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 10-11 record after their 73-12 league win over Wellman-Union (Wellman, TX).
