The Happy Cowboys basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting Hart Longhorns to 38 in the Cowboys league victory on Friday.

The Cowboys now sport a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Springlake-Earth for a 1A Region I District 4 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Happy will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 51-29 league loss to Nazareth (Nazareth, TX). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-7.

The Longhorns (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lazbuddie (Lazbuddie, TX). The Longhorns come into the 1A Region I District 4 contest with a 1-9 record.
