Louisiana High School Basketball - Haynes Academy can't hold off Thomas Jefferson
January 27, 2023: Gretna, LA 70053 The Thomas Jefferson basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Haynes Academy to 56 in the non-league triumph on Friday.
The now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Houma Christian for a 2A District 9 contest on Friday, February 3. Thomas Jefferson will battle a Warriors team coming off a 67-31 league win over Fisher (Lafitte, LA). The Warriors record now stands at 10-10.
The (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Kennedy (New Orleans, LA). The Cougars enter the 3A District 9 contest with a 8-7 record.
