The Hobbton Wildcats (Newton Grove, NC) basketball felled the visiting Rosewood Eagles (Goldsboro, NC), 45-30 in Friday's league test.

The Wildcats (7-9) will now prepare for their test against Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC). The Cougars go into the 1A Conference 10 test with a 19-3 record. In their last test, Neuse Charter thwarted North Duplin (Calypso, NC), 86-47, in a league test.
