Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) and the visiting Scott Skyhawks (Madison, WV), saw Hoover's basketball squad overcome Scott by a tally of 80-71.

With the victory, Hoover improves its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Sissonville (Charleston, WV) to confront the Indians in a Cardinal challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 3-11. Sissonville lost 52-37 in their recent league challenge against Poca (Poca, WV)

Next up, the Skyhawks confront the Lincoln County Panthers (Hamlin, WV) in a Freelance battle, on Saturday, January 28. Scott will attempt to better on its 9-5 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 5-7 record after their 80-59 league loss to Ripley (Ripley, WV).
