Michigan High School Basketball - Lawton nudges Kalamazoo Christian
January 27, 2023: Lawton, MI 49065 Lawton Blue Devils (Lawton, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Kalamazoo Christian Comets (Kalamazoo, MI), 53-46 in a league bout.
With the win, Lawton upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Allegan (Allegan, MI) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Allegan lost 50-43 in their recent non-league bout against South Haven (South Haven, MI)
Next up, the Comets clash with the Lakeview Spartans (Battle Creek, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Kalamazoo Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 53-52 league win over Kalamazoo Central (Kalamazoo, MI).
