January 27, 2023: Kotzebue, AK 99752 Kotzebue Huskies (Kotzebue, AK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Redington Huskies (Wasilla, AK), 62-35 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Kotzebue upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Huskies host Nome-Beltz (Nome, AK) to clash with the Nanooks in a 3A Western bout on Saturday, January 28. The Nanooks go into the bout with a record of 11-2. Nome-Beltz won 68-31 in their recent non-league bout against Buckland (Buckland, AK)
Next up, the Huskies clash with the Buckland Belugas (Buckland, AK) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 28. Redington will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Belugas go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 68-31 non-league loss to Nome-Beltz (Nome, AK).
