The North Cedar Knights basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Midland Eagles to 37 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now sport a 1-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lisbon for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. North Cedar will battle a Lions team coming off a 53-39 league loss to Easton Valley (Preston, IA). The Lions record now stands at 5-11.

The Eagles (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA). The Vikings enter the Tri-Rivers contest with a 1-16 record.
