January 27, 2023: Newport, NH 03773 In Friday's league outing, the Monadnock Huskies (East Swanzey, NH) basketball squad nipped the host Newport Tigers (Newport, NH), by a margin of 50-49.
The Huskies (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against Stevens (Claremont, NH). The Cardinals go into the Division III outing with a 8-3 record.
The Tigers now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hillsboro-Deering for a Division III outing on Tuesday, February 7.
