Texas High School Basketball - Riverside overwhelms Mountain View
January 27, 2023: El Paso, TX 79915 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Riverside Rangers (El Paso, TX) and the visiting Mountain View Lobos (El Paso, TX), saw Riverside's basketball squad wallop Mountain View by a tally of 54-29.
With the victory, Riverside improves its record to 10-12 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to San Elizario (San Elizario, TX) to confront the Eagles in a 4A Region I District 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 16-11. San Elizario lost 56-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Austin (El Paso, TX)
Next up, the Lobos confront the Fabens Wildcats (Fabens, TX) in a 4A Region I District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Mountain View will attempt to improve on its 4-22 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 5-17 record after their 32-30 league win over Clint (Clint, TX).
