Needles Mustangs (Needles, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting White Pine Bobcats (Ely, NV), 70-26 in a league bout.

With the win, Needles upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The Mustangs host Lincoln County (Panaca, NV) to clash with the Lynx in a 2A Southern bout on Saturday, January 28. The Lynx go into the bout with a record of 17-5. Lincoln County won 70-35 in their recent league bout against Awaken Christian (Las Vegas, NV)

Next up, the Bobcats clash with the Founders Academy Centurions (Las Vegas, NV) in a 2A Southern bout, on Saturday, January 28. White Pine will attempt to upgrade on its 5-15 season record.
