The Pelahatchie Chiefs basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Scott Central Rebels to 37 in the Chiefs league triumph on Friday.

The Chiefs now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Velma Jackson for a 2A Region 6 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Pelahatchie will battle a Falcons team coming off a 68-46 league win over Pisgah (Sandhill, MS). The Falcons record now stands at 13-11.
