Texas High School Basketball - West Mesquite overwhelms Samuell
January 27, 2023: Mesquite, TX 75149 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the West Mesquite Wranglers (Mesquite, TX) and the visiting Samuell Spartans (Dallas, TX), saw West Mesquite's basketball squad wallop Samuell by a tally of 84-28.
With the victory, West Mesquite improves its record to 14-8 on the campaign. The Wranglers travel to North Mesquite (Mesquite, TX) to play the Stallions in a 5A Region II District 12 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Stallions come into the challenge with a record of 16-12. North Mesquite won 71-23 in their recent league challenge against Conrad (Dallas, TX)
Next up, the Spartans play the Adams Cougars (Dallas, TX) in a 5A Region II District 12 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Samuell will attempt to improve on its 3-18 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 15-13 record after their 56-42 league win over Seagoville (Dallas, TX).
