Texas High School Basketball - St. Francis Episcopal fells Westbury Christian

January 27, 2023: Houston, TX

St. Francis Episcopal (Houston, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Westbury Christian Wildcats (Houston, TX), 63-51 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Francis Episcopal upgrades its record to 19-6 on the season. The travel to Lutheran North (Houston, TX) to play the Lions in a TAPPS 3A District 5 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 17-7. Lutheran North won 83-33 in their recent league bout against Alpha Omega Academy (Huntsville, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Northland Christian Cougars (Houston, TX) in a TAPPS 3A District 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Westbury Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 18-10 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 7-19 record after their 46-44 league win over First Baptist Christian (Pasadena, TX).
