California High School Basketball - Culver City nips Peninsula
January 27, 2023: Culver City, CA 90230 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Culver City Centaurs (Culver City, CA) and the visiting Peninsula Panthers (Rolling Hills Estates, CA), saw Culver City's basketball squad hold off Peninsula by a count of 76-70.
With the victory, Culver City upgrades its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Centaurs host Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA) to play the Sea Kings in a challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Sea Kings come into the challenge with a record of 8-5. Palos Verdes lost 64-49 in their recent league challenge against Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA)
Next up, the Panthers play the Palos Verdes Sea Kings (Palos Verdes Estates, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Peninsula will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Sea Kings come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 61-55 league win over Culver City (Culver City, CA).
