Fans at Friday's league challenge between the River Valley Vikings (Caledonia, OH) and the visiting Pleasant Spartans (Marion, OH), saw River Valley's basketball squad overcome Pleasant by a tally of 39-22.

With the victory, River Valley improves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Marion Harding (Marion, OH) to confront the Presidents in a challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Presidents come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Marion Harding won 43-38 in their recent league challenge against River Valley (Caledonia, OH)

Next up, the Spartans confront the Northmor Golden Knights (Galion, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Pleasant will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
