Washington High School Basketball - Bellingham fells Mt. Baker
January 27, 2023: Deming, WA 98244 Bellingham Bayhawks (Bellingham, WA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Mt. Baker Mountaineers (Deming, WA), 41-24 in a league bout.
With the win, Bellingham upgrades its record to 1-8 on the season. The Bayhawks host Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA) to clash with the Tigers in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 10-3. Burlington-Edison won 47-33 in their recent league bout against Squalicum (Bellingham, WA)
Next up, the Mountaineers clash with the Oak Harbor Wildcats (Oak Harbor, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout, on Monday, January 30. Mt. Baker will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 42-30 league win over Meridian (Bellingham, WA).
