The Cheney RVT Beavers ran past the visiting Vinal RVT Hawks basketball team by a final score of 36-27 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Beavers face the Platt RVT Panthers (Milford, CT) in a non-league game, on Monday, January 30. Cheney RVT will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 5-5 record after their 42-19 league win over Whitney RVT (Hamden, CT).
