South Dakota High School Basketball - Dupree overwhelms Cheyenne-Eagle Butte
January 27, 2023: Dupree, SD 57623 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Dupree Tigers (Dupree, SD) and the visiting Cheyenne-Eagle Butte Braves (Eagle Butte, SD), saw Dupree's basketball squad wallop Cheyenne-Eagle Butte by a tally of 61-13.
With the victory, Dupree improves its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Bison (Bison, SD) to play the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 30. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 6-9. Bison lost 68-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Kadoka (Kadoka, SD)
Next up, the Braves play the Stanley County Buffalos (Fort Pierre, SD) in a A Region 6 challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Cheyenne-Eagle Butte will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record. The Buffalos come into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 60-52 league win over Crow Creek (Stephan, SD).
