South Dakota High School Basketball - Dupree tops Timber Lake
January 31, 2023: Timber Lake, SD 57656 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Dupree Tigers (Dupree, SD) and the host Timber Lake Panthers (Timber Lake, SD), saw Dupree's basketball squad knock off Timber Lake by a tally of 50-42.
With the victory, Dupree improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to McLaughlin (McLaughlin, SD) to play the Mustangs in a A Region 6 challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 5-8. McLaughlin lost 47-28 in their recent league challenge against Miller (Miller, SD)
Next up, the Panthers play the Harding County Ranchers (Buffalo, SD) in a B Region 8 challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Timber Lake will attempt to improve on its 11-3 season record. The Ranchers come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 49-34 league win over Lemmon (Lemmon, SD).
