New Hampshire High School Basketball - Laconia nips Coe-Brown Academy
January 27, 2023: Northwood, NH 03261 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Laconia Sachems (Laconia, NH) and the host Coe-Brown Academy Bears (Northwood, NH), saw Laconia's basketball squad hold off Coe-Brown Academy by a tally of 70-64.
With the victory, Laconia improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Sachems travel to Derryfield (Manchester, NH) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Derryfield won 38-34 in their recent non-league battle against Manchester West (Manchester, NH)
The Bears (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Bishop Brady (Concord, NH). The Giants come into the Division II battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Bishop Brady edged Plymouth (Plymouth, NH), 53-21, in a league battle.
