January 27, 2023: McDade, TX 78650 McDade (McDade, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad crush the visiting Dime Box Longhorns (Dime Box, TX), 49-24 in a league test.
The (10-11) will now prepare for their test against Fayetteville (Fayetteville, TX). The Lions go into the 1A Region IV District 29 test with a 13-12 record. In their last test, Fayetteville walloped Calvert (Calvert, TX), 2-0, in a league test.
The Longhorns now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they host Round Top-Carmine for a 1A Region IV District 29 test on Tuesday, January 31. Dime Box will encounter a Cubs squad coming off a 50-38 league win over North Zulch (North Zulch, TX). The Cubs record now stands at 9-7.
