January 27, 2023: El Paso, TX 79902 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the El Paso Tigers (El Paso, TX) and the visiting Jefferson Silver Foxes (El Paso, TX), saw El Paso's basketball squad wallop Jefferson by a tally of 47-5.
With the victory, El Paso improves its record to 15-12 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Burges (El Paso, TX) to play the Mustangs in a 5A Region I District 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 23-3. Burges won 52-37 in their recent league challenge against Chapin (El Paso, TX)
Next up, the Silver Foxes play the Andress Eagles (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region I District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 1-24 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 18-11 record after their 55-23 league win over Canutillo (Canutillo, TX).
