Mississippi High School Basketball - Enterprise nips Richton
January 27, 2023: Brookhaven, MS 39601 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Enterprise Yellowjackets (Brookhaven, MS) and the visiting Richton Rebels (Richton, MS), saw Enterprise's basketball squad hold off Richton by a tally of 50-48.
With the victory, Enterprise improves its record to 4-9 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Lumberton (Lumberton, MS) to play the Panthers in a 1A Region 8 challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 9-3.
Next up, the Rebels play the Lumberton Panthers (Lumberton, MS) in a 1A Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Richton will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 55-49 league loss to Salem (Tylertown, MS).
