North Carolina High School Basketball - Wake Forest knocked off by Knightdale

The Knightdale Knights basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Wake Forest Cougars to 49 in the Knights league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heritage for a 4A Conference 27 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Knightdale will meet a Huskies team coming off a 55-33 league loss to Millbrook (Raleigh, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 10-10.

The Cougars (3-16) will now prepare for their contest against Wakefield (Raleigh, NC). The Wolverines enter the 4A Conference 27 contest with a 14-6 record. In their last contest, Wakefield was defeated by Rolesville (Rolesville, NC), 59-54, in a league contest.
