Washington High School Basketball - Oak Harbor fells Meridian
January 27, 2023: Bellingham, WA 98226 Oak Harbor Wildcats (Oak Harbor, WA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA), 42-30 in a league bout.
With the win, Oak Harbor upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Wildcats host Mt. Baker (Deming, WA) to play the Mountaineers in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout on Monday, January 30. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Mt. Baker lost 41-24 in their recent league bout against Bellingham (Bellingham, WA)
Next up, the Trojans play the Lakewood Cougars (Arlington, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout, on Monday, January 30. Meridian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 7-11 record after their 66-61 league loss to Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA).
