The William Monroe Dragons basketball team (Stanardsville, VA), was overwhelmed 55-33 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA)

The Mustangs now possess a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warren County for a Northwestern battle on Tuesday, January 31. Meridian will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 55-21 league loss to Skyline (Front Royal, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-15.
