Georgia High School Basketball - Mount Paran Christian overwhelms South Atlanta
January 27, 2023: Kennesaw, GA 30152 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Mount Paran Christian Eagles (Kennesaw, GA) and the visiting South Atlanta Hornets (Atlanta, GA), saw Mount Paran Christian's basketball squad wallop South Atlanta by a tally of 69-21.
With the victory, Mount Paran Christian improves its record to 21-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Walker (Marietta, GA) to confront the Wolverines in a AA Region 6 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 2-15.
Next up, the Hornets confront the North Atlanta Warriors (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 28. South Atlanta will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 6-12 record after their 61-20 non-league win over Brandon Hall (Atlanta, GA).
