California High School Soccer - Torres knocks off Sanger West
January 27, 2023: Fresno, CA 93727 Torres Toros (Madera, CA) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Sanger West Hornets (Fresno, CA), 5-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Toros confront the Hoover Patriots (Fresno, CA) in a CMAC/NYL challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Torres will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Patriots come into the test with a 6-10 record after their 6-0 league loss to Madera South (Madera, CA).
With the loss, Sanger West drops to 1-18 on the season. The Hornets travel to McLane (Fresno, CA) to meet the Highlanders in a CMAC/NYL test on Tuesday, January 31. The Highlanders come into the test with a record of 11-12. McLane won 2-1 in their recent league test against Roosevelt (Fresno, CA)
