Biggs Wolverines (Biggs, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting CORE Butte Lynx (Chico, CA), 45-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Biggs upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Wolverines host Hamilton (Hamilton City, CA) to clash with the Braves in a bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 2-8. Hamilton lost 43-36 in their recent league bout against Maxwell (Maxwell, CA)

Next up, the Lynx clash with the Los Molinos Bulldogs (Los Molinos, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, February 1. CORE Butte will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 0-13 record after their 61-23 league loss to Williams (Williams, CA).
