California High School Basketball - Santa Fe overwhelmed by La Serna
January 27, 2023: Whittier, CA 90605 The La Serna Lancers basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Santa Fe Chiefs to 47 in the Lancers league victory on Friday.
The Lancers now sport a 23-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host El Rancho for a contest on Wednesday, February 1. La Serna will battle a Dons team coming off a 69-33 league loss to California (Whittier, CA). The Dons record now stands at 1-2.
The Chiefs (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Compton (Compton, CA). The Tarbabes come into the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Compton was routed by Whittier Christian (La Habra, CA), 66-46, in a non-league contest.
