With the victory, Brusly improves its record to 19-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host Broadmoor (Baton Rouge, LA) to play the Buccaneers in a 4A District 6 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a record of 2-18. Broadmoor lost 54-36 in their recent league challenge against St. Michael (Baton Rouge, LA)
Next up, the Pelicans play the Scotlandville Hornets (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Port Allen will attempt to improve on its 5-14 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 16-9 record after their 54-44 non-league loss to Madison Prep Academy (Baton Rouge, LA).
