January 27, 2024: Dewey, OK 74029 The Dewey Bulldoggers (Dewey, OK) basketball nipped the visiting Sperry Pirates (Sperry, OK), 58-53 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bulldoggers (8-7) will now prepare for their test against Nowata (Nowata, OK). The Ironmen go into the Northeast Valley test with a 7-11 record. In their last test, Nowata was tipped by Ketchum (Ketchum, OK), 68-55, in a non-league test.
The Pirates now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Cushing for a Tulsa Seven test on Tuesday, January 30. Sperry will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 86-28 league win over Bristow (Bristow, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 10-7.
